Counselling as individual as you
Like most UKCP and BACP psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, family and relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress and trauma. I also have additional experience in working with adults who are suffering from compulsive overeating, emotional overeating and binge eating disorder, as well as working with clients who are neurodivergent.
Hello I'm Bex Squires,
I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches so that our work together best suits you as the client.
I work in a relationally orientated way to create a safe and supportive space to explore your feelings and the difficulties you may be experiencing.
I believe that it is important to feel connected, both with yourself and others, and to feel valued and understood.
In our work together I will:
Listen with empathy to really understand your experience of the world
Develop with you, a therapeutic relationship where you feel able to safely explore what is troubling you
Work creatively with you in a way that opens up the possibility for change, growth and healing
Be genuine, compassionate and open in our work together
